Technology is ever changing these days, especially for teachers and the way they teach to students. However for young children I believe that technology is going too far overboard. I believe that young children should learn the way we were taught instead of by being taught with some form of technology such an Ipad. It is ok for children to learn the basics of how to use a computer for learning. However I think that their communication skills and other learning skills need to be put to use to properly learn for school, before the high tech technology is introduced.
I agree with you, I think certain skills should be taught without technology.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100%. We need to continue to teach the way it has been working for years now.
ReplyDeleteThere are a few spelling errors I would check before he grades this on Friday. I do believe there are some skills children should learn before technology, but we don't want to wait too long because they are able to learn more easily at a young age.
ReplyDeleteI like how you put the picture of the little kids on the laptops
ReplyDeleteI can totally see where you're coming from on this point of view. I do however, have to disagree. While I believe that traditional learning is still a great option, technology is still extremely helpful. I'm not saying that these children should be learning on Ipads, but they should know how to use technology as it growing rapidly and is a part of every day life. Basically, I think there should be a balance between the two forms of learning. Both are very helpful when used the right way. Hope this helps a little bit.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this to an extent. Children do need to learn how to interact with each other using human to human contact. I do believe that technology should be used as a tool, not the driving force in the class room.
